Rumour has it that the SO program isn't going so well. Unlike the successful SO programs run by other Airlines, FJ doesn't have their own sims.
In addition, CAAFI isn't too keen on letting these kids into the right seat with only the 250hrs of TT they have.
They pushed the
PR on this pretty hard (FJ "doing its part to upskill local kids to replace expats") so someone has to take the fall if they publicly admit that they didn't think it through.
