If easyJet does axe Copenhagen, as no official announcement has been made as of yet, then this will free up some aircraft as Copenhagen is currently on 4 daily flights, so this could enable easyJet to add some much needed frequency on existing routes and maybe even launch some new routes. So in a sense it could be a good thing as they could be earning more yield on other routes then having a price war with FR on the Luton-Copenhagen route. I would like to see routes such as Porto to increase frequency and Munich to add retimed flights to make it more accessible for business passengers. Also it would be good to see new routes such as Krakow being launched which is currently unserved from Luton.
EZY used to fly to Krakow a few years back but axed the route as I recall.
It sounds like wait & see for a little longer as far as Copenhagen is concerned.
