Waste site not compatible with an active airport & planes

Its about time all local Environmental Licence applications were made public in the local press to alert neighbours to schemes such as this one at DTV Airport.

An airport is probably the worst location with regards rubbish blowing around. There are plenty of brownfield sites for tips.

Th old hangar 5 site boundary is next to the DTV Airport railway terminal and airport fence line.
The edge of the planned waste site it is 50 metres from the edge of the main taxi way, and approximately 300m from the main runway. (using google earth ruler)
Its about 70m to the rear of Hangar 3 where the air ambulance helicopter starts its blades.

The photo I have showing how close the old hangar 5 site is to the taxiway won't attach to PPRune. If anyone has one they can add it will show it better.

Lets hope the press ask the CAA what they make of the ludicrous idea of placing a waste site with an estimated throughput of 17,000 tonnes of waste each year next to an active airport.
