Every time I saw an El Al at STN they used an airbridge as do Eurowings, Thomas Cook, Thomson, Titan and several others excluding Easyjet and Ryanair although I have seen Easyjet aircraft using an airbridge in the past at STN.

With LTN projected to have an annual capacity of 18 million you would thought at least one token airbridge could have been accommodated, it just cheapens the airport even more in my opinion and the whole redevelopment looks cheap as well, not state of the art or anything special whatsoever, sure it's an improvement on what was there before but that's about it.
