That is now moving to inside the terminal.

New plan from same viewpoint. Note the lower canopy line and its different shape. On the old plan the canopy prevented the top of the terminal being seen but on the updated plan the airports logo can be see above the canopy
Enlarged photo of above post. The canopy can't be made of glass due to its shape. As pointed out it doesn't seem as deep so maybe the terminal will stick out more as the canopy still ends by the bus bays. No weather protection for the drop off zone. Also the bridges show light shining through but on the sides shown they have no windows but air vents at the top.
The walkways from the terminal to the bridge and shuttle bus are off the shelf designs that are used by supermarkets to store trolleys in the dry. A few sections were installed a few months ago to keep passengers dry while waiting for the car park coaches.
This is the old plan which will now not happen with its flash roof.
