My jacket is still going, so 16 years old now. As others have mentioned, when the liner finally wore out they relined the jacket and even worked some magic on the leather - when it came back, it almost looked new. I love it; far more practical than the massively old-fashioned monkey suits or modern lounge lizard look. Plus, I didn't have to carry an extra coat for wandering around town in the evenings when away in winter.
