As much as the fleet restructuring will hurt in terms of all the pilot movements, no airline ever went broke with a large fleet of 737s and not much else....
Except for one difference... QF was unprofitable in just that one year... that's an accounting adjustment... VA's track record of loss has lasted for 5 years, heading into the sixth... that's not an accounting adjustment, that's an accounting disaster.
