Name change

How can we be sure that this is not simply the Worlds Greatest Aviation Expert from Western Australia , GT , with a name change or maybe even just his middle name.
Surely GT with such extensive knowledge would have no trouble in running both QF and VA at the same time thus eliminating competition !!!
It's wonderful to have such talent around especially such a modest one

Sorry, some years ago did Air NZ hire a "consultant" to turn it around or did they employ a particular CEO who had the intellect and people skills to get on the front line with his staff and make it what it is today?

For the VA "folk", I would start seriously looking very soon for plan B on your days off and overnights.

At .22 cents and heading further south, all is not well.

The share price means nothing with a free float of about 15% or whatever it is.

The results reveal the true health or lack thereof of the business. In true form maybe JB is just doing a Qantas of a few years ago? Release a huge re-structuring statutory loss and then the following years he will look like a hero.

As much as the fleet restructuring will hurt in terms of all the pilot movements, no airline ever went broke with a large fleet of 737s and not much else....

Has anybody seen this, before..............??, or is it just me (getting old/er)???

In true form maybe JB is just doing a Qantas of a few years ago?
Reckon NOT- been done before........., only an opinion!!!!.

'Who' was the rooster that missed the QF Big Chair and had a crack at the Star Alliance AU operator, circa- 'after/following' the SYD Olympics and then found that every other passer-by had, had a feed (a Huge FEED).............., e.g.- Rupert/& the 'said' Peter (from that day forward) et-al........???

'That' bloke went on the same/a similar journey with 'more or less' similar protagonists, but a tad late and didn't realise it- for himself......... (just out of the protective environment/womb that was.... years ago, be it TN/QF) you could see it in his eyes..........., and the rest is History.

Trust, this 'rendition' goes better for those involved.....

Rgds all

But he's the messiah!!!

Virgin, what a mess!

No movement, cutting fleets, taking money left right and centre, losing it faster than a falling fuel price.

What's going on?

Time to close doors??

You thought AN would never just shut shop

Too many high overheads
Wrong fleet
A bit of bad PR safety wise
Out of control fuel hedge
