I don't get it - where's the noise?
KA hires DEFO's with possibly
less than 100hrs
Total time in an aircraft (and possibly
NO solo time at all). This is a company 100% owned and managed by Cathay Pacific.
However, CX can only find 30
in all the SO's already employed here
many who are local and/or already have a HK ID Cards.
If the qualifications above are good enough for KA, then why not CX ?? They are obviously
good enough for
all KA management. They are obviously
good enough for the CAD. They are obviously
good enough for the
passengers who pay for the tickets which KA sell under the auspices of Cathay Pacific.
Yet CX can say their not good enough for them ??? What does the Immigration department have to say about this ??
Another different standard ? All those "bypassed" SO's; how does this make YOU feel.
