So, Major L, why are you considering coming to CX now? If you wanted to see the world and experience something different, you could have joined as an SO. If you'd done that 3 or 4 years ago (which is feasible based on the age yo say you are), you'd already be an FO, and have a higher seniority number.
For staff travel and command course, it's based on date of joining.
