VLM, who operated the London City to Antwerp service on behalf of Cityjet, the last of the onetime substantial Cityjet F50 operations, has gone out of business, not altogether unexpected. Today the service appears cancelled, presumably Cityjet are deciding whether to use their own Avro RJ (seems over the top), get in another prop aircraft ACMI contractor, or give up another route from LCY.
Their own RJ85 EI-RJE operated two rotations yesterday (23 June) and is scheduled again today. Clearly, they will use their own equipment whilst a long term solution is sought. See VLM AIRLINES thread.
