I hate to inject a note of realism here but....
Our staff have just taken a 25% pay cut. Most of the contract staff have had rate cuts of up to 40% (in three rounds). In short 5% is not even a token gesture, it is irrelevant. We are an oil service company and most of our competitors are in the same position - or out of business. Given the large over capacity in the helicopter business (remember no 225s and yet no real problems in crew changes?) things are not going to get better quickly. 15? Hope that this is the end and not the start.
