The criteria considered for the Classification of airplanes by categories is the indicated airspeed over the threshold (VAT) which is equal to the stalling speed (VSO) multiplied by 1,3 or VS1G multiplied by 1,23 in the landing configuration at the maximum certificated landing mass. If both VSO and VS1G are available, the higher resulting VAT shall be used. The airplane categories corresponding to VAT values are in the Table below:

Inoltre com'è stato ampiamente dimostrato il diametro di virata a 180 kts è di circa 2NM, quindi, supponendo una minima di 600'/2400, il sottovento è ben oltre i 2400 m. Perciò vado a fare il circling per riattaccare. E ancora: con min 3700 m non potrei fare neanche un secondo di allontanamento e con un misero variometro di 300 ft/min non mi troverei in finale a 400 stabilizzato con tutti i parametri come prescrivono i sacri testi.
