Royal Air force does seem under-represented. I see Dame Vera Lynn has been made a CH. Back in the 80s when I was Treasurer of RAF Equitation , the sqn ldr who was Secretary (sorry, cannot recall his name) was DV's son in law. She came along with her husband to every competition, mainly Cranwell and Halton, and presented the prizes. She was a delightful person and did the job brilliantly.
