I flew through the airport on Monday to Gran Canaria. I would say that the airport was really good. Arrived about 4:30 with no traffic and a constant flow through the drop off. A lot of check is desks were open for all flights apart from Ryanair with 4 desks for 5 flights which meant that had a big que.
Security was very fast with the board saying waiting time of 3 minutes. I would of said that time was bang on and correct. Once through you walk up the old stairs which were there for you to walk to the old security. When you arrive you are greated with a duty free shop. Big and spacious for people to easily walk through or browse on the items in the shop. The only problem was seating once pass the whsmiths which has been cut back even more and has been boarded up. There was a bit of a que to take off with lots of Wizz coming in and a vueling which made us take off late but we left gate on time at 7:00. Took off about 7:15
