I'm not sure how many hours you have, but you're really not going to use any of these features in the airplane in the real world, I know, I know, but what if XYZ fails, yeah, nope, you won't use them, hence why you see so many people selling those stupid garmin watches now.

That said, GPS watches have some great benifits for some outdoors sports and hunting and the like, they do have to be charged often, but if you want a GPS, compass, baro watch a suunto is the top dog, doesn't say pilot on it, or have a half arse HSI, but it's really the best when it comes to this type of hardware, it's also made with a sapphire lense and in Europe, not a Chinese watch.

I'll add that even though I really like these types of watches, day to day and in the cockpit at work I wear Swiss mechanical and automatic watches.
