Great news but just remember that whilst the passengers are getting sub #100 return fares, the Scottish taxpayer is paying another #200 plus, as Dundee loses about #4-5m every year, for some 25,000 to not have to go to Edinburgh.
And Flybe are selling seats cheaper than Easyjet from Edinburgh, and ⅔ less than KLM.
Is that what the 98% of taxpayers (who don't use the airport) want from their regional airport?
This is not building a sustainable business route, as Dundee wants: its just super-cheap leisure flights for the time-being until they all wake up and realise who's really paying:
