As per newspaper stated. The Singapore Flying College (belongs to Singapore) no longer conduct flying at Seletar. The ab-initio beginning phase will be at Australia.

The Singapore Flying College (SFC) in Australia will
never employ Singaporeans as flight instructor unless the s/he is an Aussie
PR. The FI jobs are reserved for Australians (golden hair + blue eyes) or Aussie
PR only. These Aussies/OZ
PR will have priority going to SIA. Believe it or not, it is up to individual.
In this world, there should be 3 flying schools associated with airlines that will recruit foreign F.Is. as their airline pilot. SFC (associated with SIA) is one of them.
Unfortunately, this is one of the biggest loop-holes that MOM has no control on this. It will be wonderful if somebody can email
him <- click, for the sake of future Singaporean pilots employment.
