With Aer Lingus rumoured about to conclude a deal with Ryanair over interling and feeding transatlantic passengers through Dublin would there be a need for the Aer Lingus Regional/Stobart Air operation.
Perhaps Stobart would then switch to being some sort of Cityjet franchise.
Can't see a 738 being able to economically provide feed from the likes of Aberdeen, Inverness, Newquay etc like the ATRs can.
The Superjets could potentially repeat the EIR model in smaller airports in the Benelux countries for EI, airports too small to warrant and A320. Who knows.
