AA dumping seats in school holidays to USA
AA are now dumping seats to USA in Xmas school holidays.
MADNESS !!!
$1100 SYD, MEL & BNE to LAX return, all via SYD of course for departures from 9JAN.
The public will start to believe, that these are normal levels for school holidays.
So if a family wanted to go for a few weeks, they could just fit it in, before school starts back (obviously, there's some variation when school start back. Some as early as 23JAN, others as late as start of FEB)
Obviously U.S. carriers are the least popular way to get to USA from Australia(except maybe the long way via Asia).
United have always been the airline of last resort, but now AA have joined the fray.
Was talking to someone over long weekend, who didn't even realise that QF309/310 are actually AA operated flights.
Feel that QF must be selling some of these codeshared flights, to some ill-informed members of the public.
