LTN will, or is on course to reach 18 MPPA by 2020 but what does 2026 hold in terms of passenger levels?
I think Luton is reaching the end game when it comes to expansion. It might squeeze another 2 million out of the upgrade so hitting 20 million but then that will be it. Any more would have to come from a terminal 2 south of the runway and that could be 10 to 20 years away if at all due to objections and inquiries.
There would be no more nodding through by the council as it would be outside the town boundary.
