Yes, I think Vueling are definitely testing the waters with the Barcelona flight as operations stop on the 30th March and recommences on the 27th May with two daily flights. I think Vueling have so many options out of Luton for further growth in the future with routes to Alicante, Tenerife, Malaga, Palma & Brussels all coming to mind.
A question for LTNman, any news on how the work on the drop off and the dualling of the airport road is going?
It's a good time to schedule in some additional flights around the Easter Holidays. I see Air Nostrum are doing the same again this year to Vigo. Vueling seem to have major plans for growth in the UK. That they've opted for LGW & LTN and are targeting routes like BCN and AMS suggests they intend to go head on with EZY on their core routes and in their own backyards
