We will see what happens. A second carrier flying scheduled services across the pond would be a coup for Luton. Not quite sure what the appeal is with Luton when Stansted would move heaven and earth to pick up an American carrier after all their talk about long haul scheduled services.
Edit, just a thought, could it be a charter operation?
