With tailbacks starting already in March it is a bit worrying to see what is going to happen in the summer months, when passenger traffic is at it's peak. What is the current situation with dueling the access road? Is there a date when it is set to be complete?
Yes and those tailbacks have already extended to almost the railway bridge this week for small parts of the early morning on some days. The summer is going to be a nightmare as last summer was a nightmare so congestion will be extended for longer periods this year. Note, my definition of congestion is traffic tailing back to at least the tunnel.

As for the dueling, 200m of modular drainage that has been laid in 2 sections is now fully in and mainly buried with just a little section still on show by the mid term car park. This has taken over 2 months to put in as the pits that had to be dug were deep as well as wide. Not much work as such has taken place on the actual duel carriageway if you discount the drainage work. The embankment on the CTA side has been pegged out.
