Prefered cruise alt in a glider in Scotland, 8 - 12 k feet.
Will take it up to fl195 for long water crossings but Scottish won't let me higher without transponder running.
Below 5k I'm actively looking for landing options.
(Of which, there are not many up here)
And we do long flights up here (weather permitting)
