Hi Luton folk,

I follow this thread with interest as Luton seems to be experiencing an amazing run of form, the raft of announcements has been quite incredible, however as a Southend fan I'm wishing you could let us just have a little bit of the fun, you are getting a bit selfish now

Anyway I was just wondering, I have seen all the discussion of shuttle trains, monorail, trams...or whatever it may end up being built down to the train station to eliminate the bus route. However, my question is this: What is in it for the airport in making what would surely be a huge investment in this sort of infastructure project? Now I'm not silly and of course I know it would greatly enhance the airport and the customer experience, yet with the airport running close to capacity and perhaps a number of airlines just waiting to expand their offering when capacity allows do the airport really need to spend the money? How would they recoup their investment when the airport is seemly doing so well without it?

Thanks in advance
