Well, well well, the Aurigny news is both surprising and fantastic. Surely they won't follow the FlyBe example and apply for the route and never operate it?
Presumably Aurigny gaining a licence to operate the route is a mere formality in which case hopefully this summer for the first time in many years, we might see direct flights to GCI again. I wonder how many times a week they might operate - you'd reasonably expect Sat/Sun flights augmented by a couple of rotations during the week?
