LTNman if they vow never to return why is it always "Full". Lets face it the majority of people only care about how much they are paying. Surely you will get the odd few who expect luxury from the budget prices they pay but where are they going to go. STN is no different. We are mostly cattle floating around on the cheap. The reality is LTN will be busy and keep growing regardless. Location, Location, Location! The more flights the better as far as I am concerned. More places to visit, I don't care for the hour or so I spend in the airport. It is nothing time in the grand scheme of a trip.
Italy & Scandinavia need more flights.
I completely agree with you runway08, I don't think the management care either they just want the business! It is too risky to turn down airlines because they will just go elsewhere and Luton will lose out. I also agree that both Italy & Scandanavia are both still underserved but Luton did make some progress with this in 2015 with new flights to Copenhagen, Rome & Naples.
