That's a good question as the plans haven't got anything marked up as a staff entrance but there does appear to be 2 x-ray machines and a large object x-ray machine and body scanners in a similar area where the new service road lorry parking area is. On my plan it is marked in dark blue in the old terminal.
At the moment all goods passing airside for the terminal get scanned under the new terminal which is also the main staff entrance and is a real pain to access through many twists and turns and multiple staircases when staff were stopped from walking down the service ramp which is due to disappear anyway.
I don't know if this undercroft staff entrance is closing down but air crew don't use that one anyway as far as I am aware.
