Deviating slightly, but still on the subject of seating position, I have seen mention on t'internet -can't remember where- that the F-16's seat angle, while assisting admirably with sustaining high g-force, has caused some pilots with many hours on the Viper to suffer neck/back problems from having to tilt their head further forward than if they were flying jets with more upright seats.
Has anyone else come across this, or is it just something and nothing? Sounds feasible, but then again...
