Luton has been crying out for investment since the Town Hall franchised their airport. Thankfully and finally AENA/AXA have spent the cash developing the infrastructure.
It was only due to the council kicking up a fuss and threatening to take the airport back before AENA took a controlling share as the operator that got the ball rolling. The councils proposal had a pier going all the way to the south stands.
