Found the following statement from LLA about future runway capacity from the master plan document.
The additional capacity will allow better use to
be made of the runway. The proposed new and extended
taxiways will facilitate easier access to and egress from
the runway. This plan increases the peak movement rate
to 40 compared to 34 in summer 2011.
