I am still wondering how they are going to police all this when its finished.
In your photo the return road to the drop off area has space for one car only so worse case scenario the drop off area becomes really congested and more than one car can't find a space so decides to try and return into the first lane.
Gridlock ensues , to ease congestion they go straight out onto the ring road and into short term.
So they than have two tickets.As the exit from the short term is dedicated only to short term parking I wonder if the machines will accept the drop off ticket if inserted and priced accordingly or I can see lots of complaints.
Same applies if they go to the multi storey.I am curious how they will price all this, especially the drop off area
Also they have to tell everybody arriving by the Holiday Inn hotel that the road in to the CTA is a toll.Drivers will then probably cause chaos trying to find alternatives to paying and end up trying to stop there.
Do we have any figures on the number of cars the new drop off area can accommodate compared to today?
