The partial opening of part of the CTA roundabout is not far away as cones have been laid out and the roundabout has received road markings and some signage.
Passengers are soon to be directed over the pavement of part of the new bus station. Lamp posts have been put in but stop at the point where the new "super" canopy will extend to. Passenger gates are being installed between the bays to control access to each bay.
The lighting on top of the lamp posts are still to go in. As can be seen passengers will have plenty of room to move around when the pavement is eventually extended across the 3 remaining abandoned lanes to the terminal.
Not much is happening with regard to the multistory car park although today two trenches have been dug. The machine used to create foundations hasn't moved all week.
The turn from the yet to be built extended drop off area is being tarmacked today. Kerbing has also gone in for the return to the drop off area and the exit onto the exit route.
Special Assistance is soon to move into a former shop opposite. This will be the location of the new Departures entrance from the bus station and drop off area.
