Signature = Mud and some fresh laid concrete
The part of the new CTA roundabout that has been so far dug out was tarmacked this week. As can be seen in the background, access to part of the new bus station has also gone in.
I assume that initially when the new bus station opens part of the existing bus station will also remain open while more bus bays are built across it.
Installation of railings and security bollards as well as tarmacking the pavements has been started in the bus station. A temporary access barrier to the service road that goes under the terminal is being installed to the right of this photo. This will eventually be replaced with two more bus bays when the service road is permanently closed.
Work has started on the foundations of the new mutistory car park. As the existing exit road crosses through the middle of this new car park only limited work can take place at the moment.
The old roundabout that used to sit by the entrance to the former staff car park has been removed and existing traffic from the drop off area is being redirected across part of it as work continues on the new exit route.
