Bari sounds good, How about bringing Trapani or Palermo back to LTN. EZY does CTA for the other side of the Island but FR jumped ship to STN. I remember a Palermo connection full of people with ridiculous amounts of oversized luggage for as long as I have been alive except for recent years.
