Easy haven't pulled Moscow for lack of demand per say but rather as a result of the oil price collapse politically driven sanctions, and Russian Government travel restrictions on public sector workers as a result of the Ukraine crisis.

The demand remains however the money doesn't !

As for Belorussia well similarly the final Leninist dictatorship in Europe continues to restrict and otherwise control free travel opportunities to the majority of its citizens.

Other than the annual Chernobyl rest-bite holidays in the UK lake district for which Belavia serve Manchester forget it till Lukashenko is overthrown or is assassinated.
I totally agree with what you are saying, they seem to be firmly stuck in the dark ages and don't seem keen of tapping into the tourism market. I've flown to Minsk twice and it really is a great place, however Belavia are the only airline that flies there from the UK and they are VERY expensive so a bit of competition from Wizz or Easyjet would be very welcome which would hopefully reduce the price which normally averages £500.
