Presumably the mid term extension is to provide the shortfall from the loss of the short term car park whilst all the work is carried out.
I wonder if they will make an area close to the exit of the mid term car park available as short term during next spring/summer.
Also when I dropped off friends last week I noticed that nothing is yet marked out for the dualling into the CTA.
Could it be that they plan to divert buses into the new bays before moving development to the current bus lanes in front of the terminal-makes sense but lord knows where all the taxis will go😳
