i thought Ryanair's Copenhagen base has already been closed a couple of months now.
It closed in mid July - as far as I can figure Ryanair operate KUN-CPH-LTN-CPH-KUN in the mornings and then a LTN based aircraft does LTN-CPH-LTN in the evenings.
This means that if RYR did switch the route to STN right now it would only mean the loss of one rotation to LTN as the based aircraft would just do something else instead.
How the (imminent?) RYR frequency increase on LTN-CPH will be carved out I haven't figured - but using existing down-time on LTN based aircraft would not be unreasonable in the winter.
