Signature
The kerbing for the first five nose-in bus bays have been part laid. The bus station plan differs from the original plans as the manoeuvring area is now much smaller while the pavement area is now much larger. This covered area will have outside seating and tables with kiosks servicing snacks.
The bollards mark the boundary on the original plans for the edge of the bus bays but now this whole massive area will be pedestrianised and covered in a canopy. One could speculate that with the bus station now further way this large area could accommodate a further terminal extension.
A temporary materials lift has been installed by the side of the old first floor security hall to allow materials for the new shops to get to site.
