Wizzair have today announced that the Warsaw route will increase to 26 times a week, which works out to be four flights a day on most days of the week from May...
All of these are A320 flights in May... However when you check September two of the four flights a day have been upgraded to A321, adding an additional 54 seats on each on these flights, in each direction.
Additionally, just taking another look at their booking engine shows three of the five Budapest flights are also being upgraded to the A321, but this is showing for May.
The airline is truely upgading the capacity on these routes and not cutting back on frequencies, just because they are using a larger aircraft.
Just the Warsaw and Budapest routes alone, by upgrading to the A321 will add 540 extra seats a day, when you take into account these flights operating five times a day there and back!
(I only checked these two routes, there might be even more A321's next year from other Wizz bases?!)
