I'm not here to argue the business case for the airport, which as you intimate is tepid at best. I am not screaming for a thriving, bustling, local airport with regular flights to Heathrow, beaches and beyond..(like some in the media).
What I am asking for is a business to gain credibility, to deliver on its promises, to build something for the region - whatever that maybe. I accept that maybe an aerodrome, or a small airport with ancillary services or something completely different...but let's have clarity, direction and a team that puts it into action instead of this non-stop spiral of negativity and
PR nightmares.
