12 out 16 UK registered registered with permits,
Well, I'm fascinated to read that! I read the website of an Engineer in Kent, IIRC, who extensively reworked his kit, particularly the fibreglass mouldings and had issues with the CAA insisted on windows being rivetted as well as the Sikaflex he used instead of mastic.....( Sikaflex will make a bond far stronger than the items being joined) At that time, it had to pass a whol;e battery of inspections, certifications and so-on. I really thought there were only a couple in the UK. (note to self, catch up on the Rotorway story)....Ahh, It's coming back! They were in the throes of making a fully -certified machine as well as the Exec. kits (experimental)....perhaps that is now a reality and has swelled UK numbers.?
