Luton's EL AL operation gives the airline a great deal of flexibility that they could only dream about at Heathrow. It was a bold move coming to Luton that seems to have paid off together with the copycat airlines of easyjet and now Monarch who want a piece of the pie. Shame they could not get a 747 into Luton.
