Jodel D150
I used to fly the Tiger Club Jodel D150 G-AVEF. It does not have any more leg room than the DR1050's as far as I remember. It is slightly faster at 105kts with the metal propeller. It has a very long range due to having wing tanks and a large tank under the rear baggage shelf. It can be quite tricky if heavily loaded with full fuel two people and baggage on the shelf, being a shorter coupled aircraft than the 1050. If you want more space you should buy a DR221, which was a cross between a Jodel and a Robin. Better engine being a Lycoming 0-235 108/118 bhp and four seats. it would carry four unlike the 1050 which is really 2+2 or 2+1 adult - just ! In our DR221 G-BHRW we travelled all around France in more comfort than the D150.
Note: both the D150 and DR221 have all flying tailplanes like the modern Robins.
