From August the current set-down space for buses will close with a new facility opened near to the current car drop-off/pick-up point.
Sometimes I see things and wonder why! Over the last couple of weeks kerbs are being dropped next to the existing zebra crossing so it is looking like a replacement crossing is going to cross the bus station. Progress is quite slow and I have yet to see anyone working on it yet every time I look a bit more work has been completed.
Now the question is if the bus station is moving next month why do the work? Also the new crossing like the old one is within the footprint of the terminal extension.
