For about the same price I get an annual work medical that includes significant number of blood tests, finger up the bum, you name it, if you have something they'll find it.
my class 2, took about 20 mins, 10 of that was filling out forms. It was a case of read this, read that, your ears a fine, weight ok blood pressure ok

total and utter expensive joke. The class 2 medical effectively requires the honesty of the pilot so from that perspective it seems pointless to me to have one.
