Fantastic Figures
Luton is doing fantastic at the moment and should be applauded!
I estimate VLM are carrying an average of 27 passengers per flight which is relatively good for a currently brand new service on a 50 seater A/C!
Whilst I could not find passenger levels on the LTN to New York Service it was interesting to see the passenger levels of the BA service from LCY has dropped considerably!
Whilst Luton forecast 11.37 million passengers for 2015 I believe 11.54 million is achievable! If EZY do base more aircraft at Luton next year then expect the 12 million mark to be achieved!
In relation to the comments regarding the new multi-storey car park (to be built) I did suggest to the Luton Airport representatives that the top level be used for enthusiasts and was told it could be a possibility- but was not ruled out!
