They certainly did. I remember flying EZY to Amsterdam not long after the route was launched and my return flight was cancelled. The airline had a technical issue and no slack in the fleet. I ended up returning with Air UK to Stansted and EZY refunding me. So absolutely, these are the issues that small airlines like La Compagnie face and it's a real challenge. Hopefully they can overcome them and build a strong platform on which to build and grow their operation
