yes that's all well and good Johni, however I think you'll find the fact is the majority are actually on side.
Suffice to say that even those most loud at making the complaints only do so up to the point when it is their family member that ...... etc etc.
Does this 'majority of people' you speak of really think that HEMS aircraft use stealth technology and don't fly over houses! By the way, for every comment under that article you refer to complaining about police helicopters, there are another two in support
To think that if you got rid of Police helicopters you'd get more officers on the beat is straight out of cloud cuckoo land.

p.s. Most of your majority couldn't tell a HEMS aircraft and Police Aircraft at the best of times.
